The Korean beauty craze isn’t new, but it is new to me. Seriously – I’m not kidding. I don’t remember ever really hearing about this…so if that doesn’t give you confidence that blog is the GO TO destination for all things beauty I don’t know what to say to you. Couple that with the fact that we haven’t posted in like 6 months. You’ve come to the right place. Best Korean Skincare
So while I can’t say that we are beauty experts, I can say that we are just normal girls who are enjoying the skin of the average 30 (ish) year olds who eat too much cheese and chocolate and sometimes “forget” to wash their faces before bed. So you can trust that we need products that work overtime.
That’s exactly why I wanted to give the Korean skincare products a try, and after a couple mimosas too many and a wicked google binge I splurged on…everything. Out of the 10 products I purchased these are the three very, very best products of the bunch. All together these products will set you back less than $100 and I promise your skin will be changed for the better! The Best Korean Skincare
If you only try one product on this list it needs to be this one. I have no problem jumping on and off bandwagons as I please, so when I read on multiple sites that this product is basically the gateway to Korean skincare obsession one bottle of the stuff is sold every 10 seconds I jumped. There is a reason why this is a cult favorite – its heaven. You massage it onto dry skin before adding a bit of water to create a slippery, delightful lather that washes away without any residue but leaves your skin feeling better than it did in your 20s. It’s also colorant, fragrance and paraben-free, so you can feel really good about the product. I’ve never washed my face so much. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. Best Korean Skincare
This is an exact dupe for the $160-plus Vitamin C Ferulic Serum from SkinCeuticals. What exactly does that mean? Who the heck knows because nothing that expensive has ever touched my face, but for $15 and at the 4.5 star recommendation of nearly 400
crazy Amazon reviewers I decided to give it a try. This stuff is MAGIC. I put it on every morning before my moisturizer and my skin just drinks it up. It has a really high concentration of vitamin C (and smells like an orange…squeee) to the hyaluronic acid, ferulic acid, arginine, jojoba oil and horsetail extract. Again, not sure why that stuff is important but my skin has never looked better. Best Korean Skincare
When you’re as pale as a see through fish you get really good at two things – wearing long sleeved shirts to the beach and finding the best sunscreen. Well, when it comes to your face, this is it. Not only is it super lightweight and won’t make you breakout, its also infused with hyaluronic acid and water, so it practically melts into your skin and is super hydrating. Note: If you have a pulse you should be wearing sunscreen on your face daily. You can also order the Thank You Farmer sunscreen on Amazon (the link above is to Anthropology), but the inventory is always really low so snatch it up if its available.
