Danni Heverin teaches all of her DEFINE classes with grace and style. We love that she’s on a mission to push each and every person in her class no matter what level you’re on. Danni embodies what DEFINE is all about with her long and lean dancer’s physique and boy does that girl have some rhythm!
Danni’s dance career began when she was just 4 years old. Growing up as an Army Brat, she lived in seven different states across the U.S. and Germany. No matter where she moved, it was in the dance studio where Danni truly felt at home. In addition to being a DEFINE body, rev and mind instructor, Danni is a Radio City Rockette and professional dancer/actress represented by Xcel Talent Agency. Danni’s credits include The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Nashville, Million Dollar Arm, Let’s Be Cops, CMA Music Awards, CMT Music Awards, Christina Aguilera, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Big & Rich, Jennifer Nettles, Kelli Pickler, MAC Cosmetics and more. She earned her BA in Business and Dance from the University of Alabama. Health and wellness have always been an integral part of Danni’s life. As a professional dancer, she instantly identified with DEFINE’s technique of strength, length and balance. Danni is extremely excited to be a part of the DEFINE family and help further DEFINE’s mission to help educate others on how to become their absolute best!
Q: How did you get started teaching at DEFINE?
A: My agent forwarded me an email about a new fitness studio looking for instructors. I had just finished my first season as a Rockette and was in need of a new adventure. After researching DEFINE, I instantly fell in love with their concept and method. I met with Jessica last February and the rest is history.
Q: What do you like best about teaching at DEFINE?
A: Nothing beats teaching a class and having one of our clients come up to me telling me how much they enjoyed class and how great they feel! This job gives me the opportunity to impact others every single day in a positive, uplifting way.
A: It is honestly the coolest job in the world. I get the opportunity to be a part of a living legacy that has made and continues to make a great impact on our culture. Not only am I living out my dream, but I get to bring joy to people young and old all over the globe. It’s challenging, demanding, rewarding, but most of all an honor.
Q: What is your number one tip for staying in shape?
A: Sleep! Not only does sleep give you the energy you need to work out on a regular basis, it also helps regulate your metabolism, repair your muscles, boost your athletic performance and more! Making sleep a priority is hard. I aim to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep a night.
Q: What’s your secret to balancing your crazy schedule?
A: Planning ahead. I like to know my schedule weeks to months in advanced. I’m all about going with the flow, but planning ahead helps me prepare for what’s to come. I have a personal planner that I write my schedule, meetings and notes in. It’s a great tool, but you’ve got to keep up with it.
