You may have noticed that things have been a little quiet on the blog these past two weeks – which is a total bummer! But it’s for a really good reason and I’m going to ask you to hang in there a little bit longer as I put the finishing touches on…my big move! That’s right, internet friends – the hubs and I packed up our lives and moved to the other side of Peachtree Road. Luckily, this means we won’t have to do a total blog rebrand 🙂 So we’re still coming to you Straight Outta Buckhead, y’all!
I’m really, really, REALLY going to miss our adorable craftsman bungalow in Peachtree Hills. We have made such amazing memories there, but we are excited about the great new couple moving in there. As a final farewell to the ol’ gal I wanted to share our home tour. Don’t you LOVE getting a peak into people’s lives? I’m obsessed. Drum roll please… my Peachtree Hills home tour!
isn’t she a beaut? The porch is HEAVEN.
My amazing Atlanta agent, Kenna Daws, helped me with every single inch of the design of the interior and exterior remodel. She is the best real estate agent in the biz – so give her a call. She crammed six months of work into six weeks so we could get everything done on time to list when we wanted to. I couldn’t have done any of this without her – it’s amazing how important it is to have someone to listen to me and provide counsel and direction on the huge project.
The interiors were so serene. The mix of grey, beige and white was incredible and exactly what we were looking for. We are recreating this look in the new house as well (can’t wait to show you the progress we’ve made!)
The dining room had a lot of great natural light, so we were able to incorporate a lot of white marble and wood. A pop of a green boxwood added a little classic drama and sophistication.
The office and guest bedroom had the same color pallet – which helped create a nice flow room to room.
The dimensions of the master bedroom were so perfect. Plenty of room to move around, but not enough to feel too large. And the bathroom and closet? Perfection.
The finishing touch? This AMAZING Peachtree Hills backyard! I miss this beautiful house already.
