Ponce City Nights: Ponce City Market celebrates up-and-coming musical talent with the return of Ponce City Nights. The highly anticipated free concert series hosted, in part, by Brooklyn-based Paper Garden Records will kick off its 2016 season on Thursday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m. Musician Django Earnhardt, best known for “Gypsy and Western Swingin,” will take center stage in the Central Food Hall. The series will continue the last Thursday of each month. Ponce City Nights is free and open to the public. The Cockentrice: Executive Chef Kevin Ouzts and his team have partnered with Hannah Thompson of ANCO Fine Cheese, ACS CCP, American Cheese Society Certified Cheese Professional, to host a “Saturday in Piedmont” this Saturday, February 27 from 3 to 5 p.m. at The Cockentrice in Krog Street Market. Chef Ouzts has prepared a delectable menu featuring six iconic wines and six cheeses from Italy’s most prestigious region.
