Friday, June 3 is National Donut Day, and Dunkin’ Donuts is celebrating by giving a free donut to each guest with the purchase of a beverage.

The 2016 Atlanta Moon Ride and kick-off party are happening Friday June 10! The first night-cycling event of its kind to be introduced to the city, the Atlanta Moon Ride will include a pre-party in the park starting at 6 pm, followed by a fun, safe, 6-mile bike ride through some of Atlanta’s coolest neighborhoods. Featuring after-dark antics, participants are encouraged to ride with flair – dressing in costumes, decorative helmets, glow sticks, bullhorns – anything goes. The outdoor kick-off party will include live music featuring headlining band Electric Avenue, performing a set including tributes to late greats David Bowie and Prince. Attendees can enjoy a variety of bites and refreshment options from food trucks and local vendors such as Tin Lizzy’s Cantina, Shock Top and Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Bai Drinks will also be on-site with a photo booth for attendees to capture the night. Festival-goers can stay in the city after the ride, as the W Atlanta – Midtown is offering a special rate for participants. Additional featured sponsors include Choose ATL,The Color Spot, Vida Flow, Peachtree Tents and Events & Yoo on the Park. All proceeds from the Atlanta Moon Ride will support the work of local charity Bert’s Big Adventure, which is a nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families.
The Georgia Aquarium celebrates dad with half the price but all the love. On Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19, fathers will receive half-off general Aquarium admission with one full paying adult. All admissions, other than dad, can be purchased in advance online. The half-price ticket for dad must be purchased at the ticketing window on arrival. Also happening Father’s Day weekend, June 17-19, Georgia Aquarium will host the Oceans and Autos: Car and Bike Show in Oceans Ballroom. Explore an impressive array of cars and motorcycles from years past to present including cars from the World War II era and the 1909 Harvester. *Entrance to Oceans and Autos is a separate ticket from general Aquarium admission. Guests purchasing general admission to the Aquarium can add on an Oceans and Autos ticket for just $10. Tickets for guests to experience Oceans and Autos only are $20. Children 12 and under attending Oceans and Autos receive free admission.
